This is one week when the coaches don't have to say much to get
their players excited for the task at hand.
It's Union against RPI, and with both teams at 5-8-1 in ECAC
Hockey with eight games to play, the home-and-home series needs no
artificial hyping.
"We've gotten smarter, we've gotten more disciplined and our
systems have gotten a lot better," said RPI's leading scorer Chase
Polacek, whose team lost a shootout to the Dutchmen in the
Governor's Cup semifinal in October but has improved markedly in
recent weeks. "Everyone's really gotten accustomed to what's going
on out there, and we've just been playing better overall since
then."
