Jones, Powe See Hip Specialist

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Randy Jones, a former Clarkson standout, and forward Darroll Powe, a former Princeton standout, both saw a hip specialist on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee, the team reported.
Jones will have a exploratory hip procedure done next week by
Dr. Thomas Byrd in Nashville, Tennessee. The recovery time will be
based on what needs to be done.
Powe was also seen by Dr. Byrd, and will rest his hip for a
two-to-three week period before being reexamined to see if surgery
in necessary.
Both updates are per Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren.
