Media Selects Preseason All-League Team
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Members of the media selections for the 2008-09 ECAC Hockey preseason all-league team feature a mixture of veteran players and underclassmen. Princeton's forward Lee Jubinville, ECAC Hockey's 2008 Player of the Year and a Hobey Baker Award finalist highlights the media's preseason all-league team.
On the defensive end of the ice, third team all-league selection, Alex Biega of Harvard is on the team for the second year in a row. Union's Lane Caffaro, a defensman with scoring ability joins Biega on the backline. Ben Scrivens from Cornell is the goaltender selection. High scorers complete the selections with Riley Nash from Cornell, the league's top rookie last season and Clarkson's Matt Beca joining Jubinville.
