Prior to last season, the Princeton men’s hockey team had
captured exactly one ECAC championship, in 1998.
The Tigers doubled the count of championship hardware in their
trophy case by icing Harvard, 4-1, in the finals of the ECAC
Tournament and earned only the second trip to the NCAA Tournament
in school history. (North Dakota eliminated Princeton in the first
round.)
Forward Lee Jubinville paced the Tigers to a 16-6-0 league record
by leading them in scoring with 39 points (12 goals, 27 assists)
for the second year in a row - and by leading the ECAC with 10
power-play goals.
