Thrashers Open Camp with Lewis and White

The Atlanta Thrashers will hit the ice for their 2008 Training Camp on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the team’s practice facility in Duluth, Ga. Camp will open with 49 players, including former Clarkson standout Todd White and former Dartmouth standout Grant Lewis, that will be split into two practice groups before moving into one group on Sept. 30.

Thrashers prospects are competing in the annual Traverse City
Prospect Evaluation Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan Sept.
13-17 with select games being aired on tape delay on the NHL
Network. Atlanta kicks off the NHL pre-season schedule on the road
in Nashville on Sept. 25 and hosts the Detroit Red Wings at Philips
Arena on Oct. 1. The Thrashers open the 2008-09 season at home on
Oct. 10 versus the Washington Capitals.
