Blackhawks Camp Roster Includes Adams and Turner
CHICAGO -- Former Harvard forward Craig Adams and former Yale defenseman Brennan Turner are among 60 players attending the 2008-09 Chicago Blackhawks training camp, which commences September 20.

The Blackhawks will kick-off their first official day of on-ice
practice at the United Center on Saturday, September 20, when the
first of three groups begins at 10 a.m. Throughout the day, the
team will also host its first-ever Training Camp Festival at the
United Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes a 5K
Run/Walk/Skate, a 3-On-3 Street Hockey Tournament and a public
Blackhawks practice, plus live music and an interactive games area.
All events, including the practice, are open to the public.
During training camp, all players will be made available to the
media once their on-ice and off-ice workouts are complete. Head
Coach Denis Savard will speak at the conclusion of the final on-ice
session. Interview requests for General Manager Dale Tallon should
be made through the media relations department.
Members of the media are urged to contact the media relations
department each morning to confirm all practice locations and times
for the duration of camp.
The Blackhawks will play eight preseason games during training
camp, which includes four on home ice, beginning when the squad
takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center on Tuesday,
September 23 at 7:30 p.m.
