HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate posted two goals in the first 24 seconds of the contest in a convincing 6-3 victory over the University of Ottawa in men's hockey exhibition action, Saturday evening at Starr Rink.
Austin Smith (Dallas, Texas) finished with a goal and two assists, while Jason Williams (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) and Peter Bogdanich (Burnaby, B.C.) each posted a goal and dished out an assist.
The Raiders, who outshot the Gee-Gees 41-19 on the evening, took the lead for good 11 seconds into the clash as Francois Brisebois (Montreal, Quebec) deflected in a blast from Corbin McPherson (Folsom, Calif.). As the fans were getting back into their seats, Williams got them on their feet once again thirteen seconds later with an unassisted goal.
