Overtime Heroics Merit Weekly Honors

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Heroic feats and memorable goals lead to this week's selections of the ECAC Hockey Men's Weekly Awards.  Rensselaer's duo of freshman Tyler Helfrich, who made his first collegiate goal an even more memorable one as he scored it in overtime to give Rensselaer a 1-0 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday before a Homecoming Game crowd of 5,049, and netminder Mathias Lange, who stopped 39 of 40 shots on the road versus Army on Friday were named Rookie and Goaltender of the Week.
