ALBANY, N.Y. -- The national polls continue to showcase a trio of league teams as Clarkson, Quinnipiac and Princeton hold spots in the latest national polls, released Monday.

The Golden Knights, who currently sit atop the league standings, hold the No. 10 ranking in both the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine and USCHO.com/CSTV Networks polls. Clarkson, which enjoyed a weekend sweep of Rensselaer (5-2) Friday and Union (3-2) Saturday, registered 218 points in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll and 568 points in the USCHO.com/CSTV Networks polls. The Golden Knights boast an overall record of 15-7-2.

Quinnipiac, which was swept at home by visiting Niagara this past weekend, fell in at No. 16 in the USCHO.com/CSTV Networks poll as the Bobcats received 195 total points. Quinnipiac sports an overall record of 14-7-3.

Princeton, which returns to action Tuesday at Robert Morris, is the No. 19 team in the USCHO.com/CSTV Networks poll. The Tigers amassed 125 points on the strength of their 10-8 overall mark.

About the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll: The 13th annual poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
