The 2008 MEN'S COMMISSIONERS' CUP will go to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. A 4-1 road win by Minnesota-Duluth clinched the men's title Saturday night at UMass-Lowell. Having sewn up the women's version of the competition last week, it's a clean sweep for the WCHA.

Here's a look at Saturday night's games.Minnesota-Duluth 4, UMass-Lowell 1 (at Lowell, MA): Coming off a tough 1-0 loss the night before, the River Hawks needed to rally on Saturday to keep Hockey East alive for the Cup. But it wasn't to be. UML outshot UM-D by 24-20,and the hosts also enjoyed an edge in power plays (7-3). But the visitors rode the goaltending of Alex Stalock and two third period goals by Andrew Carroll to clinch the win.

Merrimack 4, Canisius 0 (at North Andover, MA): Andrew Brathwaite stopped 18 shots for his first career shutout as host Merrimack prevailed, 4-0. Four different players scored for the Warriors who finished a near perfect 6-0-1 in non-league play this season.
