
Clarkson, Princeton Not Finished Yet

ALBANY, N.Y. -- "Destination Denver" begins next weekend
(3/28-3-29) for two ECAC Hockey teams that have been featured in
national polls throughout the season. 2008 Bank of America
ECAC Hockey Champion Princeton and regular-season champion Clarkson
will play for the right to earn a trip to the Frozen Four in Denver
as part of the nation's top 16 teams.
The No. 9-ranked Clarkson (15-4-3, 21-12-4) will take on No.
7-ranked St. Cloud State (12-12-4, 19-15-5) at the Times Union
Center Friday, March 28. The Golden Knights and the Lakers
met in mid-November in Potsdam and split a two-game series.
The Lakers took the first game by a count of 4-1 and the Golden
Knights bounced back th following evening with a 3-2 win over the
WCHA foe.
St. Cloud State nabbed the No. 2 seed, while Clarkson was tabbed
with the No. 3 seed in the East Regional. The game will be
played at 4 p.m. and televised on ESPNU.
No. 15-ranked Princeton Tigers (14-8-0, 21-13-0) will travel to Madison, WI for the Midwest Regional to take on No. 4-ranked North Dakota (18-7-3, 26-10-4) Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. The Tigers were tabbed with the No. 4 seed, while the Fighting Sioux were marked with the No. 1 seed. The match-up will be televised on ESPNU on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
