ALBANY -- Two of the four semifinalists in this weekend's ECAC Hockey Tournament have amassed 19 league titles between them; the other two have one apiece.
That will matter little when they drop the puck today because the two teams with all the championships, longtime Ivy League rivals Cornell and Harvard, face each other at 7, and only one can advance. Upstarts Princeton and Colgate meet in the first semifinal at 4 p.m.
"Over the past season, it's been all over the place," said Cornell senior co-captain Ray Sawada, a member of Cornell's 11th and most recent championship team in 2005. "I think any team can beat any other team, whether they're ranked ahead or ranked below it. I think we saw that with Colgate taking out Clarkson this past weekend."
