Former League Trio Shines in CHL All-Star Game

BROOMFIELD, CO - The 2008 Central Hockey League All-Star Game showcased the skills of three former ECAC Hockey standouts - Daniel Pegoraro (Cornell), Andrew Martin (Rensselaer) and Dustin Traylen (Clarkson) -- January 16 at the Rocky Mountain Rage's Broomfield Event Center. The Southern Conference, which included Martin and Traylen, defeated the Northern Conference, featuring Pegararo, 11-6.

Martin, representing New Mexico, stopped 22 of 23 shots in the third period to register the victory for the Southern Conference. Traylen, representing Laredo, started the contest for the Southern Conference, stopping 13 of the 14 shots faced.

Pegoraro, currently a member of Bossier-Shreveport, set up the Nothern Conference's fifth goal, a tally by Chris Richards, to knot the score in the second period. He registered three shots on goal.
