Down to Four

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The 2008 Bank of America ECAC Hockey Championship field is set with Princeton, Harvard, Cornell and Colgate battling to be called champion. Competition will commence Friday with semifinals action at the Times Union Center. The winner of this weekend's event claims the 2008 Bank of America ECAC Hockey Championship crown and earns an automatic berth in the 2008 NCAA championship.

No. 2-seeded Princeton, No. 3-seeded Harvard, No. 5-seeded Cornell and No. 8-seeded Colgate each posted best-of-three-games series victories. The Big Red defeated host Union in two games, while the Tigers, Crimson and Raiders earned three-game victories over Yale, Quinnipiac and Clarkson, respectively.

In semifinals action Friday, Princeton faces Colgate at 4 p.m., followed by Cornell battling Harvard at 7 p.m.

All games will be televised live via Time Warner Sports and streamed live via B2 Networks. Access to the B2 Networks broadcasts can be gained via the League Web site.
