Officials Appointed to International Events
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Four individuals who serve as ECAC Men's Hockey on-ice officials are among 20 officials appointed to International Ice Hockey Federation sanctioned events this season, USA Hockey today announced. The list of 20 totals seven individuals who are assigned league contests (men and women).
David Brown (Wall Township, NJ), Peter Feola (Rochester, NY), Bob Ritchie (Scotch Plains, NJ) and Joe Ross (Windham, NH) will be assigned to international events this season. The foursome has previous experience at the international level. Brown and Ritchie also serve as ECAC Women's Hockey on-ice officials.
Feola will receive assignments at the World Junior Championship December 26, 2007 through January 5, 2008 in Liberec and Pardubice, Czech Republic; Brown and Ritchie will receive assignments at the World Men's Under-18 Championship April 13-23, 2008 in Kazan, Russia; and Ross will receive assignments at the Men's World Championship May 2-15, 2008 in Quebec City, Quebec and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
